About

Susan

My goal is to help women 40+
Let go of their "not-good enough" narratives around food/body/clothing.
Create room for more possibilities, more freedom, self-expression, confidence, and fun.
Quiet the critical inner voice, so they can hear, trust and honor their own beautiful, wise, authentic voices.
Develop the confidence to unapologetically wear what they love, eat what they love and live a life they love.
Trust themselves, be themselves, celebrate themselves at every age, size and shape.

It’s About Self-care & Compassion,
NOT Self-improvement.

Whatever struggles or setbacks you’ve experienced with food, body, clothing or life, truly, truly — I’ve been there — done that!
I have a gift for helping women shift their experience from frustration, stress and self-doubt—to clarity, calm, confidence and freedom *(Personal Bio).

As a Certified Holistic Health Coach, I use an integrative approach to help you create your most authentic and fulfilling life. My specialty is Mindfulness, a tool which can help you quiet your critical, inner voice so you can reconnect to your true self, your inner wisdom (yes, it's there!), reclaim your strengths, passions, sense of humor & peace.

As a Certified Personal Stylist with 10 years of fashion experience in both NYC and Boston, I provide stress-free personal shopping, wardrobe & style building for women of all body types and budgets, helping them find clothes, they love and feel great in.

I believe in: BUY LESS, CHOOSE WELL. Sustainability. Quality over quantity. Being intentional. Repeating favorite outfits. Ignoring the Pundits, The Rules. Wearing only what you love. I believe our wardrobes are tools for self-expression, self-discovery. And that claiming what you love—without apology—is a powerful form of self-care.

Let’s Work Together

PERSONAL BIO

For so long, I had no sense of me--who I was, what I truly
liked/loved. I struggled with body image and food issues
for many years. The loud, critical voice in my head
distracted and confused me. And for so long—Diets & Rules—ruled me.

It wasn't until I was in graduate school studying Nutrition that I began to connect with mySelf. Never had I been so focused or engaged in anything! For the first time, I felt competent, confident, smart, and strong. I was learning I could do hard things!

As the noise inside me began to quiet down, I started to hear my own voice, to get a sense of mySelf: What made me feel good, what made me feel depleted/deprived? I decided to ignore the rules and listen to ME. Let go of diets and simply ask: What do you really want to eat right now? I was evolving from Self-improvement to Self-care, and I never looked back.

My style sense emerged over many years. I worked with my wardrobe the same way I worked with food. I paid attention to what I loved, what made ME feel great! RULES be damned! I became more intuitive, took more risks. Shopping and dressing became creative, expressive, playful. The more I dressed just to please me, the more confident I felt.

A few years afer I graduated, I started my own business. I was one of the first Nutrition Professionals in the country to create a business devoted exclusively to helping women heal their relationships with food and body. Later I added Personal Styling and Wardrobe Consulting. My own healing journey became the blueprint for the Intuitive/Mindful process I developed and have been teaching for over 30 years.

Besides my work, I love painting, writing, reading, stair-runnning, dancing, walking, meditating, exploring cities (especially NYC), playing with my pup, dinners with friends, great conversations, train trips, The Arts, wonderful films, Chocolate, Naps.
